Tetrahedron, Octahedron.

Creating tetrahedron and octahedron with tools: 3D rotate,3D array and 3D mirror.
For creating tetrahedron we built equilateral triangles and aligned to the vertical axis located in the centre of the central triangle.

Then we used 3Darray -polar and finished the tetrahedron.

For creating the pyramid with the square on the base we used the same technique.

For creating octahedron we can use 3Dmirror on the made pyramid and use the square base as a mirror.

Polyhedrons - How they match

On 31st of March class we created different polyhedrons. Each polyhedron has a matching geometrical figure. We tried to find matches for each shape and used several different tools. Dodecahedron Dodecahedron consists of 12 pentagons. So, at first we created pentagons. And using circles and lines we found their meeting point. Then, we 3Drotated them. Animation with Letters - 3Ds Max

For creating an animation with letters, we went through several steps: creating letters, giving them material, setting lighting and camera, adding sounds. For creating letters MVTA we used Text tool , Extruded them to give volume and using Bevel tool, we changed the edges of the letters and made them more round and soft. We used Material Editor, to create and give the letters desired texture. After finishing designing letters, we moved to animation. After adjusting the frame editor we turned on the Auto button to begin creating movements. We placed the camera on the first position and after moving the time slider on the needed frame, we relocated the camera.The second step in our animation was the R otation of the letters and the final one- moving the light horizontally, from West to the East.
